Job Description

The appointed Telecom Engineer at United Integrated Company will work on vital projects within Saudi Arabia's dynamic technological environment. Key responsibilities will include:

• Design & Implementation: Contributing to the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of wired and wireless communication systems and networks.
• Quality & Performance Assurance: Monitoring the performance of existing networks, conducting diagnostic tests, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability are met to serve client and company needs.
• Troubleshooting & Resolution: Investigating network faults and issues promptly and effectively, implementing proactive solutions to prevent recurrence and minimize downtime.

• Documentation & Reporting: Preparing and updating comprehensive technical documentation, including network diagrams, configuration records, and incident/solution reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Work Experience: Proven hands-on experience of at least 3 years in telecommunications engineering or data networking. Experience within a contracting or telecom services company environment is a strong advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of communication systems and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, MPLS, VoIP, GSM, LTE/5G). Knowledge of fiber optic systems (FTTx) and data transmission equipment is desirable.
• Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalents in networking are a significant advantage and will enhance a candidate's profile.
