Job Description and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading sales efforts and driving growth in the telematics systems market within the UAE. These systems integrate Information and Communications Technology (ICT) into vehicles and transport, providing solutions for tracking, fleet management, safety enhancement, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and executing effective sales strategies to target potential clients in sectors such as transport & logistics companies, fleet owners, rental companies, and automotive agencies.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and building a strong, sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Conducting professional presentations and complex sales cycles to mid and senior-level management clients.
  • Deeply understanding customer requirements and presenting customized telematics solutions that meet their operational and business needs.
  • Building strong, long-term working relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Working closely with marketing and technical support teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Achieving agreed-upon monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Staying updated on market trends, competitors, and technological advancements in telematics and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Work Experience: Proven experience of at least 3 to 5 years in technology sales, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sales, or technological solutions sales. Experience in selling telematics systems, fleet management solutions, or automotive tech products is a significant competitive advantage.
  • Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of telematics technologies, GPS, IoT, and their practical applications in transport and vehicle management.
  • Sales Skills: A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Proficiency in consultative selling and handling large deals.
  • Personal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion abilities. Strong presentation and relationship management skills.
  • Personality: Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently as well as part of a team, and results-oriented.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing/Sales), Engineering, or any related field.
  • Language: Excellent written and spoken English proficiency. Arabic language skills are a strong additional advantage in the UAE job market.
