Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be an essential part of the 24/7 operations team in the central control room. Key responsibilities include:

• Continuous Monitoring: Monitor the performance of Transmission Systems and networks using the latest Network Management Systems (NMS) and performance monitoring tools.
• Incident Response: As the first line of defense, you will be responsible for receiving fault reports, diagnosing them accurately, and taking immediate corrective actions or escalating them to specialized teams to ensure minimal downtime.
• Operations and Maintenance: Execute routine and emergency operational procedures for transmission systems and network equipment such as Multiplexers, Optical Fiber systems, and Microwave equipment.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure network compliance with agreed-upon Quality of Service (QoS) standards, and prepare daily and weekly performance reports.
• Coordination and Support: Act as a central liaison between field maintenance teams, network engineers, and service providers, ensuring accurate and swift information flow.
• Development and Improvement: Contribute to the review and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and participate in Root Cause Analysis to prevent fault recurrence.
• Technical Consultation: Provide support and technical consultation to other teams regarding network performance and interoperability issues.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
