Job Description and Responsibilities

The newly hired developers will be assigned to the IT support team, where they will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the company's web platforms and applications. The main expected responsibilities for this position include:

• Developing and programming new web applications from scratch or enhancing existing ones, while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborating with Web Designers and software engineers to transform designs and prototypes into interactive and efficient code.
• Ensuring the responsiveness and adaptability of applications across various screen sizes and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
• Optimizing the performance and speed of web applications and ensuring a smooth and excellent user experience.
• Testing and debugging code to ensure applications are free of issues.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning and analysis to deployment and technical support.
• Meeting project deadlines within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this job in Riyadh, you must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven practical experience in web development (Front-end and/or Back-end).
• Strong proficiency in core web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with at least one JavaScript framework such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Good understanding of server-side (Back-end) development and one of its languages like Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), PHP (Laravel), or Java.
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases.
• Knowledge of API principles (RESTful APIs) and how to integrate them.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently, with good communication skills.
• Commitment to learning new technologies and adapting to them quickly.

Preferred Skills (Will be an added advantage)

• Experience in a cloud development environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools like Docker.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and techniques.
• Having previous projects or a work portfolio (Portfolio) showcasing skills and capabilities.
