- Inspection and Examination: Conducting systematic Visual Testing (VT) on weld joints before, during, and after welding operations to detect surface defects such as cracks, lack of penetration, or porosity.
- Quality Control: Supervising welding processes to ensure correct procedure application (WPS) and the use of appropriate equipment and materials. Verifying that personnel are qualified and authorized for the work.
- Standards Compliance: Ensuring all welding work complies with relevant international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS, API), as well as local Qatari regulations and company-specific requirements.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

- Professional Certifications: Possession of recognized welding inspection certifications is crucial. These include:
