Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The officer will be placed in a specialized department managing the financial and administrative aspects related to contracts and operational projects. Core responsibilities will include:

  • Invoice Management: Accurately preparing, reviewing, and processing invoices from contractors and suppliers in strict accordance with signed contract terms. Tracking invoice receipts, verifying their validity, and ensuring they match work performed or materials delivered.
  • Contract Oversight: Assisting with the administrative processes for contracts, including documentation, follow-up, renewals, and closures. Ensuring compliance with agreed terms and regulations.
  • Asset Management: Contributing to the inventory, registration, and tracking of company fixed assets and equipment. Updating and reconciling asset records, and participating in depreciation and disposal processes as per company policy.
  • Coordination & Support: Acting as a liaison between procurement, project, and finance departments. Providing periodic reports and necessary administrative support to the management team.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Ensuring all transactions and documentation adhere to internal company policies, industry standards, and local regulations.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

To be a suitable candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Work Experience: Proven practical experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar area, such as contract administration, invoicing, project accounting, or a related field. Experience within the Oil & Gas sector, heavy industries, or logistical support services is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle is a significant advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet challenges. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English (often required in the work environment).
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of accounting principles, procurement procedures, and contract management.
