Executive - Accounts and Finance Jobs in Riyadh

Job Description

The appointed Executive will join a dynamic finance team, responsible for a range of crucial accounting and financial tasks to support the company's operations. The apparel sector operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring high accuracy and a solid understanding of financial principles.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Contributing to the preparation of periodic financial reports (monthly/quarterly/annual).
• Assisting with period-end closing procedures and bank reconciliations.

• Monitoring accounts receivable and managing invoice collections.
• Assisting in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.

• Assisting with internal and external audit processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration with an accounting focus, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, or ACCA are a strong advantage.

Work Experience:

• Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in an accounting or finance role.
• Prior experience in the retail, apparel, or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

Personal & Professional Skills:

• Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Integrity and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
