Head of Sales & Partnerships at Edamah - Bahrain
Edamah, the real estate investment arm of Bahrain's sovereign wealth fund, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the critical leadership role of Head of Sales & Partnerships. This opportunity is based in the vibrant capital city of Manama and is aimed at seasoned sales leaders with a passion for building strategic partnerships within the growing real estate development sector.
Job Overview
The incumbent will be responsible for leading and developing the company's high-level sales and partnership strategy. The role focuses on driving business growth by identifying strategic partnership opportunities, building long-term relationships with key clients, investors, and developers, and leading the sales team towards achieving ambitious targets. Edamah works on flagship real estate development projects encompassing residential, commercial, and leisure destinations, offering a dynamic work environment full of challenges and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive sales and partnerships strategy aligned with the company's overall strategic objectives.
- Identify and secure new strategic partnership opportunities with developers, investors, and local, regional, and international institutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide network of existing and potential clients and partners.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the sales team, providing coaching and support to achieve sales targets.
- Prepare and present sales and partnership performance reports and analytics to senior management.
- Participate in negotiations and finalize agreements and contracts with partners.
- Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities in the real estate development sector in Bahrain and the Gulf region.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network building.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and partnership building, with a strong focus on the real estate development sector or related fields (investment, development).
- Proven experience in leading and managing high-performance sales teams.
- A demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets.
- Deep understanding of the real estate market in Bahrain and the GCC region.
- A strong and influential professional network within the real estate and investment sector.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills at all levels.
- Full professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking). Knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Ability to develop complex strategic proposals and contracts.
