Regional Sales Manager - Gulf Air - Bahrain

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, announces a distinguished career opportunity for the position of Regional Sales Manager. This role is open to experienced professionals in aviation sales and related services who possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop regional markets.

Job Description

As the Regional Sales Manager at Gulf Air, you will be responsible for leading and executing sales strategies within your designated region. You will work to achieve revenue targets, build strong relationships with corporate clients and travel agents, and enhance the Gulf Air brand presence in the market. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing regional sales plans to meet commercial objectives.
  • Managing the sales team, providing support and necessary training.
  • Analyzing market trends and competition to identify growth opportunities.
  • Negotiating and closing contracts with key clients and business partners.
  • Providing periodic reports on sales performance and revenues to senior management.
  • Representing the company at trade shows and business events.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in aviation sales or the travel industry, with proven experience in regional sales management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
    • Deep understanding of the aviation market in the Gulf and Middle East region.
    • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
