Sales Engineer – Industrial Fan Division

Al Jassar LLC is actively recruiting a skilled Sales Engineer to join their Industrial Fan Division team at their branch in Muscat, Oman. Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving and growing the business of the Industrial Fan Division in the Omani and regional market. Key responsibilities include:

• Business Development & Sales: Identifying new business opportunities, pursuing potential leads, and converting them into active clients. Meeting set sales and revenue targets for the division.
• Technical Support & Consultancy: Providing specialized technical support to existing and potential customers. Analyzing the needs of industrial projects (e.g., ventilation, cooling, factory exhaust, air handling systems) and proposing suitable solutions from the industrial fan product range.
• Technical & Commercial Proposal Preparation: Preparing comprehensive quotations and accurate technical specifications that meet client requirements and engineering standards. Performing performance, pressure, and airflow calculations as needed.
• Customer Relationship Management: Building strong, lasting relationships with key accounts, including contractors, project consultants, and facility managers in industrial, commercial, and governmental sectors.
• Internal Coordination: Working closely with the engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure project execution aligns with client specifications and timelines.
• Market Intelligence: Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and identifying opportunities for expanding the company's market share.

Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Work Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales or application engineering, with a strong preference for prior experience in industrial fans, HVAC systems, or rotating mechanical equipment.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical principles and aerodynamics. Ability to read engineering schematics and drawings. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English. Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities. Capable of working independently and as part of a team. A proactive, dynamic, and results-oriented personality.
• Other Requirements: A valid driver's license. Willingness to travel within Muscat and potentially to other Omani governorates for client visits and project sites.
