Job Description

The Sales Manager will occupy a pivotal leadership role within the commercial division's organizational structure. The core responsibilities will focus on leading and developing the sales team to achieve ambitious financial and strategic targets. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for formulating and executing sales plans, opening new channels, enhancing relationships with existing clients, and ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Development: Effectively lead the sales team, providing ongoing mentorship and training to enhance individual and team performance. Set clear performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and plans aligned with the Group's overall objectives. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), preparing regular reports for senior management on achievements, forecasts, and variances from the plan.
  • Business Development: Hunt for new business opportunities and untapped market segments. Build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
  • Sales Involvement: Personally engage in major negotiations and contracts when required, supporting the sales team in closing complex deals.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Finance, and Operations departments to ensure integration and alignment in strategy execution and end-to-end customer experience improvement.

Requirements & Qualifications

Al Naboodah Group is seeking candidates with a proven track record of success in sales and team leadership, preferably within a diverse commercial or industrial environment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Work Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Sales Manager or equivalent).
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or advanced professional qualifications is a strong advantage.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate and lead a successful sales team to meet and exceed targets. Excellent communication and delegation skills.
  • Analytical & Strategic Skills: High proficiency in analyzing financial data and market performance to develop actionable strategic plans.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Personal Attributes: A leader with a driven, results-oriented, and enthusiastic personality. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Language: Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
