Job Description

The Senior Oracle PPM Consultant will hold a pivotal role within the consulting team, providing specialized expertise in Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions. The consultant will work closely with clients to understand their complex project and portfolio management needs, and design and implement appropriate technical solutions using Oracle Cloud or on-premise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis & Design: Analyze client requirements related to project management, costing, resource management, and risk, translating them into effective functional and technical designs on the Oracle PPM platform.
• Implementation & Configuration: Lead or actively participate in the implementation phases of Oracle PPM projects, including module configuration, setting standards, and building custom reports.
• Support & Training: Provide technical and consultative support to clients during the post-go-live phase, and conduct training sessions for end-users and support teams to ensure maximum system utilization.
• Continuous Development: Stay abreast of the latest developments in relevant Oracle PPM products and propose improvements to existing solutions to enhance client efficiency.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, other consultants, and technical developers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in consulting and implementing Oracle PPM or similar project management solutions (e.g., SAP PS).
• Deep functional knowledge of core Oracle PPM modules including Project Management, Cost Management, Resource Management, and Portfolio Management.
• Proven experience in the full lifecycle implementation of ERP projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle Certified Specialist/Expert credentials in relevant PPM products.
• Experience working with clients in the Construction, Oil & Gas, or Consulting sectors.
• Knowledge of integrating Oracle PPM with other financial systems such as Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion.
