Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Senior Risk Engineer will be responsible for the technical and administrative aspects of identifying, assessing, and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle.   • Preparing Risk Reports and Presentations: Documenting analysis findings and presenting clear, actionable recommendations to senior management and stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Facilitating Risk Identification Sessions: Leading workshops with project teams, contractors, and subject matter experts to proactively identify risks.
  • Ongoing Risk Monitoring and Review: Tracking known risks, monitoring for new emerging risks, and updating response and mitigation plans accordingly.
  • Support and Training: Providing technical support to company offices and project teams regarding risk management best practices.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this specialized role at Hill International, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent) from an accredited university. A Master's degree in Project Management or Risk Management will be a strong added advantage.
  • Professional Certifications: Holding globally recognized certifications such as Risk Management Professional (RMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), Certified Risk Professional (CRP), or equivalent is a crucial requirement or a significant competitive edge.
