Fully funded volunteer opportunity in France

Activity Description:

The volunteer's mission focuses on two main axes. Firstly, they will promote European mobility and citizenship through various activities such as organizing meetings, facilitating new ECS missions with young people, and coordinating cultural events. This collaboration will be done in partnership with the coordinator. Secondly, the volunteer will actively participate in the planning and implementation of cultural, recreational, and educational activities for teenagers. These activities will take place on Friday evenings, Saturday afternoons (outside of holiday periods), and from Mondays to Fridays during holidays.

Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements:

During their stay, the volunteer will be provided accommodation in a house with a garden. They may share the house with 4 to 5 other volunteers. Additionally, a bicycle will be available for their transportation needs. The monthly allowance will cover all necessary expenses, including food, and they will also receive an unlimited transportation card for Île-de-France, which includes Paris.

Training during the Activity:

To support the volunteer in their role, they will have access to the OLS (Online Linguistic Support) platform to enhance their French language skills. If needed, APJC can provide French classes to help the volunteer communicate effectively. Furthermore, the volunteer will have the opportunity to explore and gain hands-on experience in the tasks and responsibilities of an animator.

Participant Profile:

We are seeking a motivated and curious individual who enjoys engaging with teenagers and young adults aged 11 to 25. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for promoting European mobility and citizenship are highly valued.
