Fully Funded Scholarship to Study in Germany
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Scholarship Program offers financial assistance, personal mentoring, an extensive seminar program, and access to KAS' global network to support international students.
Funding provided:
Monthly stipend of €861 for master's students
- Monthly stipend of €1200 for doctoral students
- Research residency funding
- Health insurance coverage
- Family allowance of €276
- Children's allowance of €194
Requirments
Submission requirements:
- Hold an undergraduate degree
- Demonstrate above-average academic performance
- Proficiency in German (B2 level)
- Active participation in volunteer work
- Intention to pursue master's or doctoral studies or a research stay of at least four semesters in Germany
- Broad general education and interest in political issues
- Positive attitude towards democracy and human rights
- Openness to developing personal views and practicing tolerance
- High motivation and ability to articulate life goals
Note: Students in medicine or pharmacy can apply only after completing their intermediate exam in Germany or reaching a similar stage in their studies. Anthropology, dental specialist training, and postgraduate research residencies in Germany are not eligible for this scholarship. Individuals who already hold a PhD are not eligible.
Required documents for registration:
- Completed application form
- Comprehensive CV highlighting previous volunteer work or social commitment
- Motivation letter
- Copies of examination certificates (translated into German if not in English)
- Copies of academic transcripts (for students studying in Germany)
- Proof of German language skills
- Informal academic letter of recommendation (from a university professor or teacher with a Ph.D.)
- Informal letter of recommendation focusing on the applicant's personality, values, and social commitment (author must be different from the academic recommender)
- Admission certificate or high school diploma from a German university (for master's applicants)
Additional documents for PhD applicants:
- Detailed description of the proposed PhD thesis (5-10 pages in German or English) including research question, scientific significance, theoretical approach, motivations, work schedule, timetable, and bibliography
- Second academic letter of recommendation (from the doctoral dissertation supervisor, if applicable)
- Confirmation of doctoral supervision by a parent (father or mother)
